Manager - Experiential Learning Programs

Summary

You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). You will be responsible for end-to-end management of experiential learning programs. Key responsibility areas include pre-sales (proposal stage), planning, and delivery of programs, which are typically one to ten weeks in length. Responsibilities

Pre-Sales

  • Work with the sales team to understand the contents of a new RFP (Request for proposal)
  • Engage with institutional partners to understand their needs and goals.
  • Prepare Proposals by – Negotiating rates and contracts with various service providers and prepare costing sheets, Collect relevant information from service providers to include in the proposal and Draft detailed proposals to share with institutional partners

Planning and Delivery

  • Thoroughly understand requirements and goals for each of our programs
  • Detail out the work involved for each program, including: identifying required resources, delegating work, identifying and defining milestones/timelines for deliverables, etc.
  • Oversee execution of programs to achieve seamless delivery & execution, with direct interventions with delivery team/service providers as necessary
  • Lead the development of a safety plan/risk management protocol for each program and oversee its implementation to ensure the safety of our participants, customizing it for the location, group size, type of institutional partner, time of the year and other geopolitical conditions on the ground
  • Oversee execution of programs on the ground EXACTLY as designed and planned
  • Oversee on-field management of service providers/partners/participants, including on-arrival reception and orientation, responding to on-going feedback from partners, handling contingencies, briefing partners about the plan (and any changes to it), engaging key stakeholders effectively, etc.

Skills and Requirements

  •  2-4 years of experience managing operations and partner relationships; some exposure working with international stakeholders mandatory
  • Ability, experience and enthusiasm for leading and motivating internal teams and program participants
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
  • Aptitude to manage multiple tasks, programs and teams simultaneously
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Excellent MS office skills
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to travel when required – sometimes at short notice

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary3.6 lacs to 7.2 lacs per annum, depending on experience

Working Environment 40-45 hrs. a week, mostly from the Pune office, but might require occasional travel to learn about/experience our products and services.
